Missing pieces

It happens — even in the best-kept libraries. Here's how we handle it.

If you're the borrower

• Count pieces before you pack the box and again before you return it.
• If a piece is missing, tell the owner in the message thread right away — don't wait.
• Don't throw out the box until the case is resolved — the missing piece often turns up in a corner.

If you're the lender

• Check the box as soon as you get it back.
• Mark the puzzle as “Missing pieces” on its listing if it's no longer complete.
• Reach out to us if you think credits should be adjusted — we review case by case.

Credits & refunds

Credits are held when a borrow request is made and only spent when the owner approves. If a puzzle turns out to be incomplete, we can refund the credit on a case-by-case basis.
